The Langkawi International Boat Exhibition - LIBEX - is organised by SailAsia Sdn Bhd, an event management company that specializes in maritime activities in Malaysia and, in particular, Langkawi.

SailAsia is a joint venture between Telaga Harbour Park Langkawi Sdn Bhd and Media-Works Productions Sdn Bhd. Telaga Harbour Park is the principal developer of the Burau Bay Development in Langkawi.

SailAsia is also the organiser and promoter of The Darwin-Bali-Langkawi Yacht Rally, a premier sailing rally in the region, organised in collaboration with Yayasan Cinta Bahari Indonesia, which organises Sail Indonesia. The Rally forms a major part of SailAsia’s activities to help create awareness of maritime activities in the South East Asia region.
